Driveway permit may be an issue with location of proposed driveway. There is a requirement for 300 feet of "unobstructed view" on this 30mph narrow dirt road. The Strafford Road Agent believes this is not possible looking left when driving out of the driveway due to large pine trees that line the road. The road is also registered as a "Historic" road which may make cutting down trees that line it not possible. So how is this a buildable lot if you can't have a driveway? GJ, our builder, is an old high school acquaintance of the Road Agent, and the RA is investigating further. We are hoping this is just a small hurdle that will be easily remedied.
